I really don't know how much your car is worth. Get a kellyblue book it should show you the value of your car.I would like to know why would you want to get rid of your g35 at all.The more miles you drive a car like that the better they ride.I have a 03 350Z that I bought in October of 2002 I have a 100,000 mile warranty on the car I now have 50,933 miles on the Z and it drives a lot better.I all so a 95 mazda millenium with 212,000 miles with no problems all. What I'am saying man just keep your car!If you trade your car in the dealer will n't gave much for it.Than they will sell it for more than they gave you for trading it in!

About $33,000 CDN assuming your mods don't kill the value. You don't want to ask a lot more than that as for some reason people will usually pay a dealer more for the same car. I would return it as close to stock as possible and sell the pieces. I am sure the car looks great but stuff like clear corners will turn off most buyers(think Altima). Check trader.ca. There is an 04 with 16k for $34995 at a Chev dealer, but most 03s are asking for close to that. A/T coupes are selling for 35k. To the right buyer you might get 35k with what you have on it, so you could maybe put it up right now as is, and return it to stock in a month or so if there is no interest. If you you sell as is make certain to list the cost of the mods in your ad. And of course describe it as "mint" rather than "screaming fast". Auto Trader is a good place to advertise but so much competition there you want to find another option too. Eye catching cars will sell off of a for sale sign in the window if you can stand it. Good luck!

3 months ago I bought my 03 sedan with premium/aero/sport packages with 21K miles for $25K in Kansas City at a Nissan/Chevy dealer. That seems to be about the norm around here. A $1,000-1,500 less for a private sale. The window sticker for my car was $34,400.

Dammm! It worth $33000 CND now...That means within 2 years, the price of this car drop by 40%? I bought it for $55000 with everything loaded. This is my first car and i dont quiet sure about the resale price. Is it the same with Benz and BMW? 40% decrease in price within 2years/30000km? That sounds like a lot of depriceation going on there~

You paid almost $7000 in sales tax which you don't get to pass along so really less than 30% It might be the amount produced has driven things down a bit but the depreciation is not out of line. You can buy an 05 m/t right now for 48k Cdn(no Navi) which includes GST but not your PST. Navi is an expensive option that doesn't translate well into resale. Most buyers choose no Navi so it is a neat gadget for most but not one that props the cars worth up like the m/t. The m/t coupes hold their value well compared to the autos and the 350Z but are still only worth a couple of thou more. If you are willing to sit on the car for a little bit you might get a little more. To someone who wants that navi the car has to be worth a couple Gs more. It's just that 3/4 of the buyers probably aren't that concerned but to someone who is, the car is worth 35-36 instead of 33-34. If you manage 36k on a 2 year old car that was48k before tax you are only hit with 25% betterment which is pretty sweet. A car has to be very low production to do any better than that. My 2003 Z06 Corvetter listed for 82k new and I will be lucky to sell it for 52k now so I would be worse off then you if I hadn't bought it a year old. That 20% hit for the first year is what you pay for sleeping with a virgin
