I purchased a wireless backup camera for my 2006 G35 sedan. I've been searching for information on what wires to splice into that are in the bundle right behind the trunk latch. The wires that go to the reverse lights are orange and black. Guessing they are spliced somewhere into wires behind the latch into different color wires. Can anyone a. please point me to a wiring diagram or b. have done this before and can provide some details steps? Thanks

 

U can always just remove the inner liner and locate the harness for the reverse lights. Then follow the wires to see where its easiest to tap into.

 

Is your '06 a manual or automatic? Automatic backup light wire is Orange for hot all the way to the back-up lamp relay in the "fusible link holder" hanging off the battery + terminal. The manual circuit shows the wire color changes to red for part of the run.
