Air bubbles
Air bubbles
My 2003 G35 started to overheat so I looked under the hood and back where the coolant bleeder valve is 2 of the hoses was hanging in the air unattached due to bleeder valve breaking from being brittle so I replaced it but have been getting bubbles out for 2 days and am hoping to learn what I'm doing wrong
Bleed coolant air according to the manual.
get the front end raised up and put in a spill free funnel. It takes some serious time to break the air bubbles out of the VQ.

Coolant needs to be added very slowly. Search @cleric670 for his method of taking car out and slamming the brakes to dislodge bubbles. Rinse and repeat until things are working.
Just time it right when the engine is warming up. When it's ALMOST at normal operating temperature drive it wide open throttle to 30mph then slam on the brakes HARD almost triggering the ABS. Make sure you have the heater on full hot with the fan at max speed, it should immediately start blowing hot air. If not do it a second time.
