I don't know if the 05 pads will fit the 04 or 03 cars. I asked my service advisor and they only told me that the pads had different part numbers. They couldn't tell me if they were the same size. I thought they should know their own cars.....

Does anyone know if the 05 pads will fit the 03 and 04 sedans?

Brake dust is alrite. Not that bad. It only happens to the front tires. The back is always clean. I think if you clean the front rims at least once a month the dust shouldn't be able to built up.

The accumulation of brake dust is not as bad on the '04 I've driven. But it's still there and very noticeable on my '05 ... especailly after a week-long of driving (about 300 miles).

I just washed-waxed-detailed my G this morning (try to do so every other Saturday at least), and the back wheels were still shiny ... but the front ones, well ... they definitely needed attention.

That doesn't surprise me, they give you a different story ever time, when my brakes were replaced, I asked if they were a different pad, and the service guy said no, same part number, but the second guy I asked, service manager, said they were an "updated pad", so who the hell knows! I see a lot of vehicles with brake dust issues, some even worse than my G!

I had my brakes worked on about a month ago on my '04 sedan at the dealership, and I've noticed that the brake dust doesn't layer on as badly as before, but I've also been driving a bit less agressively.
