05 g35x brake dust?

anyone know how the brakes on the 05 g35x are. my 03 coupe produced an enormous amount of brake dust which settled on my front rims (too lazy to clean them every day) and stained them. my gf just got an 05 sedan and dont want the same thing to happen to hers. thanks

I have over 3,000 miles on my 05 X and I have not had a problem with excessive brake dust on it so far. I am sure you will find it much better from what I have seen and heard.

My 04x was so bad, that I had to powdercoat the rims the same color as the brake dust to hide it

I don't have an X, but do drive an 05 sedan. No dust probelms at all - not even on the backside of the wheels.

I was apprehensive about this after reading about the dust complaints from previous model years, but so far they haven't materialized on my G. 515 miles on her so far.

I've actually found the brake dust accumulation on the wheels to be a pleasant surprise compare to the other cars I own. It is barely noticeable after a week of driving (around 75 miles). I have about 1500 total miles on my car so far.

05 G here...NO brake dust accumulation. I am very happy with the lack of brake dust.

They Are Semimetalic Pads If You Want No Brake Dust You'd Better Get Some Ceramic Pads Then They Won't Dust. But They Are A Bit Pricy But $$$or Brake Dust? I Go With The Pads!

I am so thankful I sold my 04 Coupe and got my 05 (sport) A/T sedan. No brake dust (or I should say, minimal).

do you guys know if it's possible for them to replace 04 brake pads with ones from a 05 when replacing them under warranty....seems them would be better since they create so little brake dust...

I have an 05x and it has smaller rotors than the new 05 sedans without AWD.
Bummer. (wheel clearance when using smaller wheels)
It produces a fair amount of brake dust, though not as bad as my old Audi.
I just cleaned the car- After I get back from my drive in the hills I'll take a snap shot for you.

It seems to depend on the car and the driver. My wife's is an 05 m/t and the brake dust is bad, even on the rears which I didn't think was possible. Worse than my Z06 Vette and she doesn't get on them like I do. The stopping power is great though so I am not going to mess with them. I am hoping the need to get bedded and will improve over time.
