fuel tank explanation
I understand how fuel gets over the center hump when filling, but, how does a single pump pull from both sides of the saddle style tank.
I see there are two level meters....apparently the ECU averages the levels on both sides.
Update: I see it now….there is a metal tube inside the tank….left side over to the right side, connect to the pump with a flexible hose.
Called “jet pump” in the service manual. This pulls fuel from the left drivers side of the saddle tank offer to the right side, where the main pump pushes fuel to the engine.
