Trying to help my brother

Hey everyone. Excuse my ignorance here as I write this. My brother got a this kind of car recently and we've had a few hiccups.

A few days ago he had the fuel level sensor and coil pack changed because it had a cylinder 1 misfire. A couple days after that the car was driving just fine.. until.. he went to go start it and nothing. It is sounding like it wants to start like turning over but not starting. When he tries to start it a red key symbol shows up on the dashboard (not a red little light) so we are thinking it somehow went into anti theft mode?

We tried jump starting the battery, it's not the alternator, and it's not the starter either (according to him).

He currently has a locksmith there that is programming a new key to it but they're having some issues. The key the locksmith made isn't "turning over" in the car at all but the key my brother has does..just won't start. This is all super confusing to me but I'm trying to help him out since I know he's frustrated. Any ideas?

We can bypass NATS (the immobilizer) completely as part of an Uprev tune. Or just bypass NATS and not do the full tune. You can either ship me the ECU to flash here and send back to you (cheapest) or I can send you an Uprev cable so you can plug in and flash it there with the files I provide over email (most convenient). Email me. Seymore4@gmail.com
