05 g35x NEED HELP ASAP

Hey guys I really need help. I have an 05 g35x sedan and recently within the past week she has been shutting down on me. At first she was riding fine about 2 weeks ago but within the last week she started jerking only at around 1st-2nd gear, but then she started having trouble going uphill from full stop like she’s trying to breathe. I took a look at the air hoses and found that the air intake boot hose is completely cracked and not even attached to the throttle body. I’m just wondering if i replace the cracked boot hose, would that fix that problem essentially? Or should i go ahead and replace the whole stock air intake with an Z1 cold air intake. And her service engine soon light came on. please help!

Either of those solutions would help. If you have a huge air leak after the MAF sensor, the car is going to run like crap. You can either replace the accordion section that's torn or replace the whole thing with a Z1 piece. You just need to be sure you have no air leaks after the MAF sensor.

Thanks I ordered the piece and now I wait till Sunday when the piece comes in. I will update after I get the accordion piece. Also should i go ahead and clean the throttle body while i’m at it? And i should do the whole relearn procedure for all of those after right?
