'05 curved throttle air intake hose duct boot - where to buy?
New member here. Need to replace throttle air intake curved throttle air intake hose duct boot (see picture). Turns out for '05 model it's sold only as part of air duct assembly for way over $100. Couldn't find after market part after online search. Any suggestions?
Thank you!

I think that section of 'hose' connects to rigid plastic parts at both ends and doesn't have any vacuum ports coming off of it. If so, you can probably just replace that piece with a silicone coupler of the same length and diameter. A 15, 22, or 30 degree coupler would probably do the trick. The picture below is of 22 degree couplers on turbohoses.com (there are cheaper places to find these types of couplers):
EDIT: Cheap angled couplers --> http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...egree&_sacat=0
Other options are picking up pieces of a used intake in our Marketplace section, or if you're open to going aftermarket, you could replace that section of 'hose' and the resonator with a z-tube.

If you can't afford $100 + dollars for the intake hose you might be much happier with a Honda Civic that has much cheaper replacement parts.
Shop a few Infiniti dealers that have web sites. Using aftermarket parts on an Infiniti can sometimes give you more unexpected problems than you realize.
Just my $.02

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
^^I doubt a hose coupler is going to cause "unexpected problems" lol. Man you give some good advice at times but I now often shake my head at a lot of your posts. If you think an 05 G is a "high end automobile" and a new owner should buy a $100 (or more) OEM intake tube for it you've lost your fvcking mind, no disrespect intended. That car is probably worth $5000 or less.
OP ignore his advice and get what you need to fix your ride where you want to. I second bigc's advice on the Z tube. He is the shizz and actually has a clue what he's talking about.

Sorry to dig up this old thread...
I have the same issue on my 2006 sedan RWD. Shopping for silicone hose to replace this.
I rather keep the existing hose assembly and replace just this pita coupler...
Anyone know what are the dimensions and angle?
Much thanks in advance for any help with the dimensions.

Else definitely the Z1’s is the way to go. But now that I already dropped $45 for the OEM filter box coupler... I hope to just get a silicone hose for the throttle body coupler from eBay for about $10.... Hence the ask for help on the dimensions... Sigh...

I went ahead and bought a 3 1/8” ID 45 degree silicone hose from eBay. Figure the hose is stretchy enough to fit...
Will update when I have it and attempted installation.

kks, did your hose fit? have a link for the one you got? i need both couplers. i have a stillen tube but it uses the oem couplers. wonder how long i've been sucking unfiltered air into my engine..... amazing how well it runs given how large an air leak these must be. The throttle body coupler is ripped about half way around the circumference just like the OP photo and two of the troughs in the accordion folds in the MAF coupler are cracked about 2 inches each.
