Today was a beautiful day in Vegas-- perfect temperature, a nice breeze from the west, and a sky spotted with small clouds. I decided to roll on over to the mall to grab some sandals since it's been warming up, and decided to drop the windows and listen to a little Sergio Mendes. I was sitting in the left turn lane at a light when I heard the words "G35..." drift into my car from behind me to my right. I looked over my shoulder to see a kid, probably 20 (okay, I'm 24. Shut up) sitting in the next lane, looking up and down my car.

"Is that a G35?"
"Yep"
"Damn. You've got one sweet car. Beautiful man, just beautiful."

His light turned green, and he gave a thumbs up as he drove past in his Evo.

I had a smile plastered on my face for the rest of my drive home. It's the simple things, really.

Hey George, I was in Vegas yesterday on Vaca. I was on the lookout for you and SnM, but hell I don't even know what you guys look like, LOL!

 

Damn, I spent the whole day cleaning out the basement and then running around in my wife's minivan. On the bright side, the weather hear sucks!
