I am looking at a new 2004, 6 sp mt, carib blue, nav and prem. list is about 35.5k. It's been on their lot since about Oct. Without any pressing, them came down to 31.5k or so. what's the best you think I can do? I would like to get it for 28k. offer 27k? suggestions?

 

If you get it for 28K you robbed them, infact I would be surprised if they came down to 30K.

 

I think 27 is too low and might be viewed as not serious. However, 28 is what you want to pay so offer 28K and be ready to walk at their counter offer. See what that does for you as they may come back with another offer. Remember they want to sell it as much as you want to buy it, Carib blue is a discontinued color which may work to your advantage although the dealer will try to turn it around to his advantage.

 

If the list price is 35.5K and you have them at 31.5k now (4,000 off list) your getting pretty close to the final price. You can sure try to work them lower but I think your with 1k or so. Just my thought
