Hi guys

This weekend took my G for our first road trip from vegas to LA. It handled very well and so far pretty impressed with the car.

I noticed the following :

1. Above 65 miles when i shift from 4th to 3rd gear for pickup i dont see the power as i expected although the rpm goes above 5000/6000 but i see a lack of power although when i try the same on 4th and 5th gear at high speeds above 70 mphs it generates lot of power.

2. Isn't 3rd gear on mt suppose to generate highest pickup -- thats my understanding. I see the car has more pickup on 4th and 5th gear than 3rd gear.

What are ur views on the same. Anyone experiencing the same on their mt.

Can't comment, Basus, on your problem, since mine is an '04 6MT. Mine has no problem pulling very strongly right to redline (only 6500 RPM on ours) in every gear, though - 3rd, 4th, whatever.

Curious to drive an '05 6MT now, just to compare.
