Kinetix - Cat Pipes

Hey Guys...just want to know if anyone has these pipes on their sedans or coupes???

I've been hearing different opinions on the quality of the pipes and some are good and some aren't. Do any of you have these?

what is the performance like?
sound?
smell?
installation?
have you had your Emissions test done?....Kinetix claims it will pass.

I am looking for a little better performance but mostly better sound. Our sedans are too quiet compared to the coupes. I want to get my car to sound similar to the coupe or better.

Thanks.
Chico

I'll sell them to you $300 shipped to you door, never used. I decided to go with Crawford cats.

I'm posting frm home now thus the different log-in name. A few reasons:

1. from what Ive read Crawford seems to be the better product (fitment, sound etc.)
2. Crawford looks more like stock
3. there's a awsome video in the exaust forum of someones newly added crawfords eaten up the street. check it out.
4. I want what I consider the best.

I guess I've just talked myself out of a sale but that's my true opinion.

$300 bucks vs $500 though is something to think about. some here say they've had no issues with the kinetix.

Kinetix - Cat pipes

Hi you said that you had to take of the heat shields. Was that for the Kinetix pipes or cats? I just bought the cats and I wanted to know if I had to take the shields off or not

I have had kinetix hi flo cats they were fine for 3-4 months when i decided to sell them off and get resonated test pipes from them.... so far so good.... it didnt smell at all with the hi flo's but it smells a little with the test pipes... sound is ok i guess? i dont know if the cats make a perticular sound its all about your exhaust setup, hi flo cats wont do much just give you a deeper tone with a lil more growl to it.... for the money i think they are good but im sure the crawfords are a little better.... they seem to have quaility products.... as for kinetix's plenum i have V4 ( the newest one ) and i love it... i showed substantial gains over stock coupes with the products i have.... two of them being kinetix.....
