what is it really worth?

have a 2004 G35sedan Premium package, brilliant silver with graphite leather interior, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift handle. Car has bose stereo, hid headlights, sunroof, dual zone a/c, auto trans with stability traction control, non sport suspension, reclining rear seats, cruise, tilt, black bra, tinted windows (legal tintining colors) Tint strip accross front windshield. 17" stock alloy rims, wood trim on door handles/shift handle, heated seats/mirrors. Car has 13400 on it and is cherry, NO DINGS< NO ACCIDENTS< NO TOUCHUP PAINT. K&N air filter/mobil 1 synthetic. My wife and I car pool and her car is a diesel so thats what we are using. I am toying with the idea of selling but am not yet sure. Kbb has private sale at 27645 and dealer prices at 30365 and I see dealewrs asking like 31500. Is my pricing correct? Let me know please, comments at edfru2@bellsouth.net
Car is located in so florida, is garaged at night and when I do take it to work is also in a garage. Why should private sale be any lower when the car has almost 3 years and 37000 miles of factory warranty left.

I will attach a picture tonight when I get home.

Thanks

Why does everyone ask this? I don't think I've ever sold a car or bike without someone wanting to know why. Just curious?

Kevin,
The car is perfect in every way. But, I car pool with my wife and she now has a turbo diesel that gets around 35 mpg. I have a payment on a car that I use maybe once a week now. Also, I may have a job (transfer) in the near future that is 40 miles from my house and in the other direction from my wifes office. So, 80 miles a day x about 20 MPG. If I do need another car. while I will miss the excitement of the G, I want something a little more frugal. They do expect fuel prices to increase and I have other expenses like a house mortgage etc . I am not sure I want to part with it but am really thinking about it. It is the nicest car I have ever owned. Sticker was over 34000.00 so not a cheap car by any means.

thanks for the explanation G35sedanman...I knew it couldnt be because you were unhappy with the car (and I do feel your gripe about MPG...I get 11 on the NYC streets....horrible) and MRB...the reason that people who are looking to purchase your car ask that question is that they assume something is wrong with it... it's much easier for people to assume that G35sedanman just got it totalled and fixed by the body shop rather then selling it for practical/financial reasons..... trust me we all think that way...it's a protective mechanism agaisnt getting RIPPED OFF
