Picking up my New 05 6mt Sedan FRIDAY!

Well Im finially doing it. After Driving my RSX for 2 Years im Trading it on for a 2005 Lakeshore Slate G35 Sedan 6 Speed, with Wheat Leather Interior. I Got a pretty sick deal with the Trade in and the fact that it was sitting in the Show room.It comes with the Aero Package and the Sunroff Package and the Sirius Radio(for Howard Stern ).My first color choice was Black Obsidian but that only came with the Premium package and no 6Mt's in the sedan. Besides the Premium is 3k more onto the sticker. I dont need it. Im taking Delivery on Friday and i cant wait to get out a drive this baby. The Lakeshor slate is a pretty awsome color as well and u deff dont soo too many on them around. Combine that with the Sedan and the 6mt and i got a pretty rare car here. Im Picking it up friday and Ill post pix as soon as i can.

Dont worry Man. Actually on the Test Drive the Sales Guy(awsome Guy By the way) Let me take out a coupe as well to see the differences. Well On one road which shall remain nameless we come to a stop sign and theres no cars in sight and He tells me to turn of the VDC,pop it in 1st rev it to 5kRPm and Drop the Clutch. My God I smoked the hell oua those Rear tires, almost through 3rd gear. Layed about 30 feet of rubber. He said I normally dont let people do this on a test drive but he wanted to show me the Power of the VQ Motor. I was Impressed and would have got the coupe if i didnt need 4 doors.

I feel sorry for the poor schmuck who buys that coupe.

Welcome to the G family.

Great car, great decision ... welcome to the club! I love seeing others out there with an eye for the manual sedan. Now get ready for 2 types of comments:
- Nice car
and my personal favorite
- Why didn't you get the coupe?"

Yeah, right - stories like that are exactly why I insisted on picking up my G35 with 7 miles on the odometer straight off the transport, still wrapped up in plastic. Too each there own, but it wasn't worth the risk to me. Especially for a 6MT.

Stories like that confirm that ordering was the right thing to do for me.

Amen to that. That car might only have 25 miles on it when some poor shmuck buys it, but they'll probably be the longest 25 miles the car will ever drive.

I will never buy a high-performance car that's been test-driven by anyone but me. Period. This is a sterling example of why.

Oh, and Comptech, congratulations on the car! Lakeshore Slate is great color!
