Sorry, I didn't realize it. It's great that it fits. Looks like the coupe mid pipe will join my motordyne spacer when I do it. I just didn't want the droning issues I had with the HKS I had on my 2003 Maxima. It wasn't horrible, but annoying sometimes.

 

I love my midpipe but was wondering if i needed my heat shield. It's making an ANNOYing noise. If I take it off, what are the consequences?

Hey guys, does the middy get quiter after like 200 miles of it being installed b/c mine is quiter now, but I guess I am maybe more used to it now??? B/c I still see the grin on my friends faces when they hear it...

 

The sound is awesome. Keep calling Grubbs as they will keep coming up with more coupe owners changing out there stock exhaust systems. I've also had some issue with the coupe mid pipe having some drown at 2k rpm with the automatic, but it's right there at that line between nice and over the top....hmmm well it's only there at 5th gear and 2k rpm which the auto likes at 25mph in rural/populated areas. Yet it's got this nice exhaust rumble 95% of the time. It is a good mod. It is not 100% completely perfect. To each his own.
