my friend is interested in getting a 03 6mt sedan. Its black with black interior. has some nice tint but no options. Miles is 9000, build date May'03. The car is in almost perfect condition, except for a few minor paint chips and some rim rash.

whats a reasonable price? 25K???

 

Yeah, that sounds reasonable as a top settling price. I would try to offer $23,500. Does anybody know if the 6MTs command higher prices due to their rarity? It's hard to say because they're so hard to find in the first place.

 

Two weeks ago I just bought a brand new 2004, 6MT, with nav and prem for 28.5k plus ttl. Locally (CT) there are a few 2004 used G35 sedan rental cars (mileage 15-22k or so), with leather, tip and sunroof that you could get for 22 to 23k. MT are hard to find so that might work for or against you. I used it to my advantage as that car had been around for 6 months. There is a fair amount of profit on used cars, so I would offer 4-5k below the dealer's asking price.
