What the hell was that truck doing in the median? Florida's DOT allows too much crap to go on next to the roads without proper traffic control (I'm a highway engineer).

Glad to hear you're all right!

I have to thank ALL of YOU that have voiced your concerns and support. This Forum is a phenomenal place! Yes, I wish I had the time and the inclination to get back to my mangled G35 and pull apart the mods, so I could try to recoup some $$. But frankly, that's one of the last things on my mind. We're picking up a new Honda Pilot EX-L for my wife today since I'll be driving our FX35 now (she was driving it for the past 1 1/2 years), and I have a business conference beginning tomorrow. So, there was just no time to start pulling things off my car, nor did I really want to go back to it. I did send in all the mod receipts to my insurance co., hoping they might reimburse me for the "enhancements" to my G35, but I'm not holding my breath.

Anyhow, yes, the G35 Sedan is VERY SAFE as you can see, and I walked away from this very bad accident without any injuries. It's quite amazing. The first thing the Sunrise police said to me (before the Florida Hwy. Patrol got to the scene) was... "where's the driver of that car? Oh, it's you...you must have had a guardian angel looking out for you." I said "why yes, yes I did AND I had a very safe car."

Take care all. Drive safely and enjoy your G35's!!!!

bsgoren,

Glad to hear there was no bodily injuries. The G did its job of protecting the occupants. Your sense of humor suggest that you're in decent spirit despite what happened - that's great. Good luck and take care.

So sorry to hear about your accident! I'm glad you walked away from it. Just because you don't currently have your G, you're always welcome here on the forum.

Take care.
