I've been looking online for a used 03.5 or 04 G35.

If I see a G w/ the 5 spoke wheels does it always have the sport suspension?

Does the interior w/titanuim trim always have the sport suspension?

There are only two interior trims, correct? The wood and titanium.

 

The sport suspension has red shocks

 

Thanks Tgr, but I was hoping I could tell by the photos posted online. It doesn't appear all dealers list the sport suspension in the discription. They usually post exterior/interior shot and was hoping I could tell if the car had sport suspension before calling or test driving a car.

 

when i got my car, in '03, the sport package automatically came with titanium trim, and the 5-spoke wheels. obviously, the wheels can be swapped out. but changing the titanium trim and mark it as a sport package would require more work than it's worth. so chances are, if it's in the pics, it has a sport package.

Yes 5 spoke & Ti interior = sport
(not too likely wheels would be swapped..they are the same size)

 

intgr8r - agreed most likely the wheels aren't swapped out. but if what he's looking for intially is just visual cues... i wouldn't trust it at first. how many dealers add on special 'packages' for a 'great deal'? and now they've got a set of alloy wheels, that they can use for another 'great deal' for an otherwise base sedan, regardless of what it used to read on infiniti.com

 

I really woundn't say titanium trim interior... more like plastic metal (proud owner of a 04 sedan 5AT with... sports suspension)

 

Agreed... got to watch the dealers.
They will swap wheels to make a customer happy (read close a deal)
But, you do what you can...
When looking, use the visuals, (wheels & interior)
then ask for confirmation.
If it's a car you're interested in ask if it has red shocks.

 

Look and see if it has a stick shift. Hee Hee.
