Now, learn to search. It really isn't difficult.

simply put - a plenum is not unlike an old performance intake manifold.
A spacer would be like a gasket of metal, but thicker/taller, and would be used with a stock plenum (intake manifold) to create the same effect as a performance intake manifold.

I'm sorry but wtf is up with you guys always saying to use the freakin "search" button! Ofcourse it IS useful, however, this is a freakin FORUM!!! Guys, we all post stuff so we can learn, discuss, etc. to improve our cars, as well as increase the knowledge of our cars. All I'm saying is that I'm sick of people posting: "use the search button". If you want to reply to a thread using that previous statement, then in my opinion, don't write. Just dont answer and the person will be forced to use the "search" button.

Listen man, the only reason I'm always harping on the search thing is because topics like plenums, Z-tubes, ECU's, etc. have been discussed to death on this forum. A few minutes of research will answer your questions and educate you at the same time. In the end doing your own research and making your own decision about what you will put on your car will be more rewarding then the instant gratification you seek.

It's also more likely that you will get a more in depth discussion on earlier threads.
After something has been rehashed 3 or 4 times the replies get less informative.
Also, a little research might lead you to a question that you had not considered....
