Picking up my new G on Thurs-any tips during pick up

My plan is to inspect the car for scratches and defects before I sign any papers. I will need to see the finance guy and get my Infiniti 2.9% rate. I will check for owners manual, spare, make sure I get all the keys, free dealer floor mats, no advertising on car, see if XM is installed, and that's pretty much it. I know when I get home I will probably wish I had done something else as a result of maybe something being missing. Any tips from people's experiences with the G on what else to do while I am at the dealer before I drive the car home. See my signature for my options. Thanks.

Good Luck on the car!

Just curious...how long did it take to get them car from the time it was ordered and what did you pay. I am about to put a deposit down on the same car.

Thanks

use the sticker on the car as a checklist to make sure you got all your options.

My delaer did a great job on my delivery. Also, make sure you don't go at night - you can't see any swirls or scratches under the lamps.

I think you've got the major items. The warranties and consumer protections afforded you on a new car purchase mean that there's little chance a dealer can squirm out from an honest sale.

You might want to add, check for a full tank of gas, to the list. That's become valuable!

Soon after getting it home I would add these to your check list.
New car day is a lot of fun. Best of luck with everything!

Wow! 14 weeks is a long time. Do you think that is a standard turn around time? I would rather not wait that long.

Check the power steering level. Mine was at the min level. Asked dealer afterwards, they said it's normal. Have kept an eye on it and the level has not changed.

Get the damn key to wheel locks. I didn't get the key at delivery. It was a nightmare to resolve later.

If you're getting wheel locks, tell the dealer to give you back the lug nuts. My dealer-prep throws them away.

          FWIW. Good luck.

We ordered my wife's car 12 days after Corgidog and we're still waiting.
