Does '05 Sedan Bumper fit '04 Sedan?

Hello everyone,

Driving to work on the highway, early in the morning on 4/26, I ran over a tire tread from a tracktor-trailer. There was no way to avoid it because it flew right at my bumper and I had no chance to swerve. It was heavy and cracked several components. I now see that thing on the side of the road every morning.

I got an estimate and need the following replaced:

          My Question:

(I am not considering going with an aftermarket bumper because my car is otherwise pretty much stock.)

Personally, I'd get the aero bumper. I do think it is worth the extra $$ and it looks awesome.

On top of what you listed above you will need to change your headlights and hood too. You're better off getting the Nismo kit.

If I'm not mistaken the stock comes unpainted.(extra$$)

Stock aero bumpers come color matched. (or at least they used to!)

Yes you are right they do, that's what I was trying to say.

The cost for the OEM bumper = bumper + paint.
The sport is prepainted (just got mine)
                      so.........
the cost difference (total) is not as great as you think.

                      Does anyone know the answer???

I'd like to do this as well. I need to replace my front and rear bumper plus I'd like to change the side seal to the 05's if possible on my 04...

What needs to be changed? Can I just change out the bumper covers and will they bolt up?

I don't want to know what you think is nicer, I just want to see if anyone has done this on a Sedan before..

                      Thanks..

05 front bumper cover will NOT fit 04.

                      What kit?

There's not too many for the sedan....

There's the OEM/Nismo kit, Wald Kit, Giallah Corsah, Impul, and I believe that's about it?
