Cool Coupe Midpipe PROBLEM

I just recently had the coupe midpipe installed on my 04 6MT sedan. The sound alone is definately worth the $100 bucks (thank you Pinoy).

But there seems to be a slight problem. Besides the midpipe i have a injen CAI. I never had any problems with my CAI, but im having a problem with the midpipe. Any time i really get on it my emergency brake light, VDC, and Slip light all come on, and stay on. The car doesnt drive or handle any differently at all though. Could this be because the ECU is not used to having so much air goin through the engine with the CAI and midpipe? Anybody else have this problem with there midpipe? I dont know if just need to do a ECU reset or what. I have an appointmment to take my car to Infiniti to have it checked out. But if the problem is fixed with an easy ECU reset, i dont want to take my care back to the dealer. Has anyone else had any similar problems like this after the install? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What you describe sounds like the "brake light switch recall" that happend last year. Take it in and they will fix it under warranty.

/\ like he said... its either the recall. or you can check under your car and make sure the ground strap is hooked up to your exhaust. im not really sure why its there but it is. its the one hooked up to the midpipe and muffler. i also had a midpipe and intake on my car along with a plenum and don't have anyproblems.

FWIW...
Air flow through the pipe can create a static charge.
