The lady emailed me with that info and that's all she said but iI would think that it does since she made it a point to tell me the $1350 plan doesn't cover nav or stereo. However, with these types of things you never know until you have it in writing.

 

Salespeople can be good at making you assume something is true without them actually saying it. For cars like this, you really want an extended warranty that's still bumper-to-bumper to cover all the electronic luxury gadgets that can fail.

Don't waste your money. By the time the base warranty is up, we will all have traded in our cars for the a 400+ horsepower AWD G35!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RWD is definately more fun. But, if you live where is snows alot AWD is definately the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I wouldn't even say "definately" then. There's a good case for RWD and snow tires there.

However, I live in SoCal, and it hardly even rains here.. so AWD is just excess curb weight.

Ryoken: RWD with snow tires are in now way close to matching an AWD version. I have owned a 90 Infiniti Q45 (which was a hell of a car), then bought a 93 GMC Typhoon (AWD w/ 285HP and 385LBS torque) and there is now way the Q or a G35 can match the traction that an AWD vehicle provides (especially on launch). My G35 is good little car, but I am anxious to see how it behaves in the snow here in New York this winter.

I didn't say it was better. You're right, AWD launches better, even with A/S tires vs. a RWD on snows. However, braking and cornering don't depend on the drive wheels, and the lighter weight car with the better balance and tires will come out ahead on those counts, regardless of the drivetrain.

And on the dry pavement where I live, RWD is the way to go.
