To make things more clear (maybe unclear due to my CM measurements)

Took measurements in CM because they are more precise.

CM to INCH (left to right)
5.9 centimeter = 2.3228346 inch
6.6 centimeter = 2.5984252 inch

0.5 centimeter = 0.1968504 inch
1.8 centimeter = 0.7086614 inch
3.2 centimeter = 1.2598425 inch
4.5 centimeter = 1.7716535 inch
5 centimeter = 1.9685039 inch

0.5 centimeter = 0.1968504 inch
0.6 centimeter = 0.2362205 inch
0.5 centimeter = 0.1968504 inch
5.5 centimeter = 2.1653543 inch

0.4 centimeter = 0.1574803 inch
0.4 centimeter = 0.1574803 inch
0.4 centimeter = 0.1574803 inch
0.4 centimeter = 0.1574803 inch
0.9 centimeter = 0.3543307 inch
1 centimeter = 0.3937008 inch
0.9 centimeter = 0.3543307 inch

Hope this helps... with these measurements, can someone say if the card can be shaved to fit the Sedan?

It seems that MT card is not compatible.. the buttons appear to be closer together on the sedan key.

Ill call infiniti and see how much they charge me for a sedan keyfob. I might ask if I can disassemble one of their key and side-by-side compare. Well I have 2 finals tomorrow so i cant do the math right now to see if it will fit or not... anyways hope it does =D

if you shave your board, you will be destroying the antenna there along the perimeter at the top...

where yours swells towards the top, mine doesn't. (top refers to orientation according to pics)

Thats what I think too, but maybe if I shave some of the circular wires at the top it will still work... maybe it wont have the same signal strength, but walking up to the car a little bit more wont hurt me.

EDIT - I am thinking on going (next week) to the dealership with an electrical engineering friend of mine and dissasembling my KeyFob and ask the delaership if I can disassemble theirs (maybe they let me) to see if something can be done.

I called them, they said the 05 Intelligent Keyfob has a different brain in the car, so it cant be done... (I am talking about programing the 05 intel. keyfob to lock/unlock a 05 coupe door)

You could make up your own signal wire loop, just reterminate at the same points.

the 2 dots on the sides of the board, put one end of the wire in there and solder it and the the other end of the wire and solder that too. now u should be able to trim the top of the board close to the buttons.
heres a ps of what i think is the smallest it can get.
