2005 Sedan 5AT, Prem , Splash, Trunk Mat (pretty basic, but being upgraded everyday!!!) Paid $32,850 +tax and license

Gt a good trade in on my 04 coupe too, nearly 31,800 for it, with only 15k miles. It was absolutely loaded too, so it was fair.

Got more trunk, more room, and a little better gas mileage (can't complain).

2005 Black, Auto with Sports-Suspension/Aero/Premium Package/Splash Guards:

$33,000, which was about 350 below invoice.

Apparently after I bought my car, another dealership called me and said they were willing to work with me to get 1500 under invoice for a DG w/o Aero. But it was already too late :/

Yup - Virginia Sales and Use Tax for automotive purchases is 3 percent. Regular everyday sales tax is 5 percent.

Everything in the sig, plus splash guards and trunk mat - got it for cost $32107, plus $99 doc fees, plus around $100 local Chattanooga city tax. I now owe the state of Georgia 5% sales tax for the sale.

The Atlanta dealers I talked to weren't even close - one was at $34,000 + $499 doc fees, the other was at $750 off sticker, with $599 doc fees (ouch). I got this one at cost because it had stone interior instead of graphite (everyone wanted graphite, which I wanted also), and probably because it had been on their lot for a month and a half, during which time all four wheels were stolen. They said they were quite surprised to come in in the morning to see it and two other cars on blocks. They claimed it cost them $5000 to replace the tires and wheels (where was their insurance???)

Oh yeah, another post just reminded me - forgot the $45 title/tag fee.

tint was free, and so was trunk mat....well, we weren't charged for them but the profit more than covered those 2 items.

They also sent a fruit basket to the house as a care package.....
