New owners - share your deal!

Hey all you new owners...

How about helping out those of us who are shopping around by sharing the deal you got. This information is some the best ammo to use when negotiating a deal.

Vehicle features, location, price over invoice, financing, dealer fees, etc, etc would be great. Also, if you leased, what the residuals and money factors were. Positive/negative dealer experiences are helpful too.

Thanks!

i got my 05 x ivory pearl/stone interior w/ premium c trunk mat, and splash guards for 33,940. about 150 over invoice. go at the end of the month with a few days left. they will give u a better a deal especially if your car is on the lot. if u go to edmunds.com u can see the invoice pricing. so when u go in do not let the sales person control the conversation..remember it's your money. dont let them take it from you without them earning it. good luck with your purchase.

05 6mt Dg

05 6MT DG w/ Premium, splash guards and trunk mat. Invoice 31,633 Paid 32,300, TOTAL not including title, tax etc. which will vary from location to loc. Specifically includes all dealer fees. This is not that great a deal, I probably could have done slightly better, but at that point, I would have had to spend more effort than it was worth.
If you belong to AAA, call them and they will give you the name of the dealer who will give you about 3% over invoice guaranteed (about $ 1,000) and send the referral to the dealer by fax if you want. This can then be your top price as a bargaining point anywhere.

Hey,

Using a VPP deal through my employer, I got a 2005 Automatic Transmission Sedan with Premium C, Splashguards, and a trunk mat for $32,420. This is $141 over invoice, excluding tax, title, and loan. This number does however include the fees that they add on, which are essentially their profit for doing business. I was happy with that!

Just bought mine Sunday at Passport Infiniti in Alexandria, VA (Around 5% below invoice). I live in Richmond and the local dealer wanted about $1500 more. They did try and sell me a wheel/tire warranty for $600, but I passed. I only wish I lived closer because they offer a lot of service discounts. Overall a great experience!

2005 AT
Sunroof was the only option (No premium package)

Out the door (taxes, tags and processing) $31,363

Wow, how did you swing a deal for 5% under invoice? So it was $27,775 plus $610 destination plus TTL? Did you have an inside connection with the dealer?

The state sales tax in Virginia isn't 3% is it? How did you only pay $970?

It's funny, because those are the numbers emailed to me by the dealer (and honored). I had tax b/w 1,100-1,200. Not sure if I got away with something, but I wasn't going to point it out. Passport is just willing to deal from time to time (pretty big dealer)...I don't have any connections.

I leased a G35X for $311 a month after taxes and stuff. I get 10K a year for 39month. The car is the most basic model, but still awsome, wish the X came manual tho, would be a lot more fun to drive. In any case i still an awsome car and fun to drive.
