Idle too low?

I think somerthing is wrong with my G. For the past week its been idling at 400 and even sometimes at 300. Is this normal? I also notice a slight vibration in the cockpit. What does your G idle at? Anyone know if this is normal? Any answers appeciated?

Re: Idle too low?

To check the idle, warm up the car, park it and turn off all accesories. Rev the engine at 2k for 2 minutes, then at 2-3k for a minute. Let it idle back down . Spec is 650 rpm +/- 50 rpm in N on 6 M/T, and 650 +/- 50 rpm in N or P on A/T.
Make sure you're reading the rpm gauge properly. Each division is 200 rpms... and that all the accessories are off.
If it's not idling at spec. after you do that then the dealer will have to adjust it with his Consult II scan tool.... G/L

Re: Idle too low?

Thanks Guys. Guess what like an idiot I misread the gauge, it is idling at 650/700. My only onther concern is a slight vibration I feel in the car like the idle was lowering but the needle doesn't move. Any ideas?
