Thanks. I was hoping for personal information about problems, increased performance, other experiences, etc. The manufacturer's site is nice, but after all, they are trying to sell me something.

Thanks,

Okay then. Filters come pre oiled. Cleaner and re oil kits are available but don't need to be used for many thousands of miles. Care is needed on re clean not to overoil or risk MAF sensor problems.
I have one one my G. I like it. Slightly more intake noise (pleasant) and perhaps more power and fuel mileage although I can't quantify that.
First experience with K&N was in my 5.2l V8 dodge dakota. Definitely more power and boosted mileage by 1-1.5mpg which was good when I was originally only getting 13mpg. I was sold.

You have to remember that there has to be a certain amount of air resistance in order to filter all the dust out of the air so if you have a more course filter then it will have less resistance and of course let more air into the intake but it will also let more dirt in as well. right?
Facts to back this up??
