About gas mileage. I just wanted to let everybody that I am really happy with my gas mileage of my 04 sedan 6spd. I was TDY (tempory duty) at Fort Rucker AL. for 6 wks and made several trips (3)to Tampa FL, to visit a friend. Everytime I went there I drove 82 MPH for the 5hr trip, and everytime I got 24MPG. Yesterday my fun was done and headed back home to Columbia SC, so I decided to try to drive slower to verify any improvements, I drove no more than 76MPH for my 7hr trip back to SC 451 miles. After reaching home I topped off and it took 17.170 Gls which equated to 26.36MPG. Now imagine driving around 55-60 MPH. That's about what all EPA tests are based on. I'm happy with it's performance.

Good mileage, gtbigup01, about the same as I'm now getting in my 6MT on long trips.

Must say I'm surprised at how the mileage is improving, as I've got almost 20,000 miles on my '04 now, and the overall mileage has improved about 2 MPG across the board (city/highway, rural /suburban) since it had 10,000 miles on it.

Good mileage bro. These engines will perform with a little dilligence and care on the gas pedal.
