Take responsibilty for your actions. It's nobody elses fault if you get caught violating traffic laws.
Hello,

This is 'THE WIFE" replying.....thank you for your kind words of wisdom, and may I ask....do you drive like Miss. Daisy, or do you simply drive a beat up Corolla.....cuz if you drive a G....you must have gone over the limit at some point. And if you just haven't been caught yet, then my i give you my FULL blessing in getting one Btw, i was going 55km/hr in a 40km zone, so for you that would be like going 55 in a 50 zone, or something like that. No offense, I fully respect your opinion....but that's all it is, so no hard feelings...this is just MY opinion, one G owner to another....peace.

Can the police track when they give you a "warning" only?
usu they cant... but some state troopers give WARNING TICKETS... aka go in their machines that you got a warning, but no fine, no nothing... my friend got one...

I NEVER said I don't speed or commit traffic violations. The difference is, when I get caught, I pay the fine because I was wrong and I take responsibility for my actions. You were speeding, you got a ticket, now take it like a man...errr, woman and pay your due.

BTW, Miss Daisy didn't drive. That's what Hoke was for.

Actually, it would be like going 35mph in a 25 mph zone. 25 mph zones for us are usually residential. No sympathy from me. Try a fourth grade math book.

It seems like most of you that don't like cops don't know any cops. It is one of those thankless professions where no one likes you unless they need you. If you want to criticize with some credibility - do a ride along with your local department and see what it is really like.

If you want to speed freely, move to Montana.

Don't mind patrickwang. He's an anti-cop troll. Every time he comes across a thread like this he spouts off at the mouth. Ignore him and he'll return to his SoCal forum where some people may actually think he has something interesting to say.

As in any profession cops are a little bit of everthing - jocks, military, and yes even nerds. Case in point - I graduated from an Ivy League school and worked several years as a police officer in Atlanta. I will say that I would rather have a jock backing me up in a fight than a pencil neck, but that's just me.

Ride along with a PIG? What for? So they can prove first hand what big loosers they are? I'd rather ride along with my local trash collector. At least the 'trash engineer' will be more humble.
