click noise from drivers front wheel
Hi all,
does anyone else hear a single click noise from the driver's side front wheel area when the getting the car. It only happens if the car has been sitting for hours and when you shift your weight into the car theres a click noise. only a single click and it won't happen again till the car sits for awhile.
thanks

Are you positive that it's coming from the front? A very common click sound can be made by the rear parking brake after the car has been sitting for a while, then jostled (as in opening the door, and sitting down). It is caused by the fact that the brake is usually applied when the wheel is hot, then after it cools there is a residual stress, relieved when moved again.
