I just noticed that there is a noticeable "growl" coming from under the hood that I can hear from inside the car when I turn on the air conditioning. It seems to get quieter after a few minutes, but perhaps I'm getting used to it.

Is this a normal condition for my G? I've only had the car a few months, and have not needed the A/C much.

I never noticed it in mine, but my Delership replaced my A/C compressor because it was making a growling noise that they heard and I did not. They said there was a TSB out for this. Take it to the dealer and complain.

 

I had the same issue a while back. Took it to the dealer and they fixed it.

Take it in...I just have my A/C compressor replaced...Had a loaner for a month because it was on backorder.
