Aluminum pedal install tip...

I had no problem with the aluminum pedal install with the exception of excessive room between the top of the new gas pedal and the pedal rod. It caused a rattling noise because of the contact of the pedal against the arm. I glued a piece of rubber to the inside of the pedal (as pictured below) and it cured the problem. Also, I cleaned out the grooves on the "snap on" retainer clip so that I was able to 'slide' it on vs. pushing it on to the clips on the pedal side. I put a little crazy glue on it to give it a little help in staying put. This'll make it cleaner to remove it in the future if needed (slide it back off intead of prying it and messing it up JBX

Place felt tape or electrical tape around the rod where it contacts the pedal and you'll have no noise.
