Stupid coupe owner
Some idiot coupe owner had his window down today and I rolled up next to him. I told him "nice car man", and he just laughed and boned out. I'm sorry but at the next light, I was mad so I asked him "why he laughed!" He was like, "why would you get a G sedan, it's so slow!" That pissed me off... I'm sorry again but I gunned it when he did, and enjoyed every second of burning his *** like crazy. What a disgrace to G owners! Most of them are cool but this one obviously thought too highly of "himself". Gotta represent the sedans.

So, you burned him. Did he not know how to drive it? I'm not implying that the sedan *is* slower or anything; I just know that they're close enough that one stocker's not going to burn another, coupe or sedan.

Get over it--both cars are quick--not fast--just quick. The coupe is a few ticks quicker. The sedan should be compared to sedans--it is faster than a $75k Audi A8(6.9s 2 60 & 15s 2 1/4mi), faster than a $45k Audi A6 3.2 (7.3 & 15.4) and faster than a $50K Audi A6 4.2 (6.9 & 15) Almost As Fast as an $80K BMW 745isport (6.1 & 14.3) and a $63K GS430 (6 & 14.5)
Want a really fast car (or sedan) try an M3,M5,S4, CTS-V, 300C SRT8, C55AMG, Evolution RS (4.3 & 13.1), WRX STi. It is all about the money--if you spend it--you can be fast---but there will always be a faster car.
Man--get over it---takes a lot of talent to mash a gas peddle and claim youare fast--who cares. "Talking about how some coupe drivers are when they are next to a sedan."

G35 sedans are fast for what they are, sport-focused entry level sedans. I've owned low 13-second cars and you can't really use that power on the street. Having a low 14-second car is plenty fast for daily driving. Is the CTS-V and M/S series cars faster? Sure, but they're $20+K more and they utiltize large displacement and/or hightech motors to get their speed.
Your statement is a bit silly because you say "fast" equals 13-second cars. I could easily say that's not fast either. How about 11-second street cars or 9-second street bikes. I think that qualifies as "fast".
Tell him to put 4 golf bags in his trunk and see how fast he is.
WHOOPS! I forgot - he can't carry 4 golf bags (and the friends that go with them.) If I'm not mistaken, two can be a challenge. I can carry two and a big cooler and not even touch the backseat, and look good doing it. Tell him to try to travel with another couple on a weekend trip with luggage. He'd have to hire a follow-me truck. LOL.
Don't sweat it.
Coupes are good for those that can fit them into their lifestyle. As my daily driver, the sedan fits the bill and the coupe would've spent more time in the garage than on the road because it really isn't good for anything utilitarian.
I didn't buy a new car to spend more time in my truck than I did prior to.
More money + less space + not better looking / not that much faster = less bang for the buck. At least in my world.
As for your guy - I would've blown him off. Clowns like that are a waste of gas.
