Cheap aftermarket spoiler on ebay?

The new 05 I got last week did not have aero. After comparing it to my 04, I think I would like the spoiler. Honestly, I just dig the look of the spoiler; I'm never going to see any practical uses of it at any kind of track.

So, I have the option of getting the dealer to install it. Few hundred bucks plus labor. Or, I can get one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33638

I'm a little hesitant to buy anything like this off ebay, but the auction certianly has a professional appearance, and the color codes seem to be accurate.

The auction lists the dimensions of the wing; does anyone know the dimensions of the OEM wing on the 05?

Any thoughts?

I order mine off ebay from Spoiler depot. They had fast response and shipping. The paint matched perfectly.

Do your ebay spoilers make a rattling sound when you close them? My Ebay special looks and fits perfectly, but rattles when I close the trunk. TIA

Looks just like the spoiler that I bought from Grubbs and I paid more than that. I would buy it.

I saw these when I was looking for a spoiler for my 05 X. However, you have to drill. I don't mind drilling plastic bumpers, but drilling the metal decklid is not gonna happen here. Also, my brother has a spoiler on his 2004 Volvo from Spoiler Depot. The paint matched perfectly at first. It has now faded and doesn't look so good. I went with the UT G2 lip spoiler which attaches to the trunk with 3M moulding tape. Doesn't come painted but I had my body shop paint it for me. I like the look and it sets the car off from other Gs with the OEM wing.

I would pay the extra $$$ and get an OEM part with professional installation. You can't go wrong with OEM.

The rattling sound could be the wire inside. Mine does the same thing. Have to secure the wire inside or something
