'05 Black Sedan on 19" SuperMesh *PIC* Big Lip!

I had these sitting arouind from my mercedes e-class. I decided to see if they'd fit, and Wammo!!!! just about perfect. The rear could use a bit more + offset. The tires are right at the edge of the fender now. The lip looks awesome...especailly for a sedan. Caliper clearance is fine...not even close.
The tires are too short for the G. I'd need to change the tires to something taller and not as noisy. WOW, the G picks up all kinds of road noise. These tires were fine on the Benz. In the G, they are embarrassing....AVS Sport. Way too much road noise. I'd never be able to take clients in my car with these tires.
At any rate, the Wheels are 19 x 8.5 in the front. 19 x 9.5 in the rear
Tires are 245/35/19 front 275/30/19 rear.
For now, I'm gonna put the stock 18s back on, but I think I'll order some new tires for the SuperMesh.

wait, i thought those tire sizes are what most sedan owners use for their aftermarket 19's??? i think the tire brand and model is the only thing you'll need to change if you do decide to. either way, your car and your rims look amazing!!!!!!

I thought the 19 x 9.5 in the 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern had a +45 offset - how much more + offset would you have wanted????? I would have thought the +45 offset would be perfect.

I figured a 245/40/19 for the front and a 275/35/19 for the rear would be abotu equal to the stock diameter.
Also, I weighed the setup. The SUpermeshes weigh 53.2 # with AVS sports.
The stocks 18s with goodyears weigh 50#.

My wheels are a 40 offset. These are mercedes wheels. they are supposed to be a 5 X112 bolt pattern. The wierd thing is that they lined up perfectly.Even the centering ring Iused for the mercedes were the same size for the G. Pretty strange, huh???
BTW, a 45 mm offset would be perfect. There is plenty of caliper clearance.
Finally, I don't have any close up pics of the rears. I already took the wheels off. I have to pick up a client in the morning. There is no way I'd drive them with all that tire noise.
Sorry I should have read your initial post more carefully - so they came off your Benz and fit your G. The different offset makes sense now that I know they aren't the 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern.

I find this tire size calculator very useful when trying to find a tire size that matches the stock tire height.

i'm running the 245/35 r19 all the way around. i think it looks good. the only difference is, i've lowered my car. 245/40 would be perfect, but lowering might cause rubbing issues (depending on springs).
