Unthinkable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, it happened......
4 hours after picking up my car from the bodyshop to repair my "keyed" door
I sat harmlessly at a red light. Some punk in a Passat decides he is in a hurry,
jams on his throttle to get into the traffic flow, hits a lady drivin a Buick who panics, hits the gas, slams into the side of a cement truck then into me.
Front bumper damaged, sorry no pics yet.

WTF....................................

Sorry to hear about that, dude.

Are you in Rhode Island? If so, anywhere near Providence? Have you ever heard of Hi-Tech Racing? They have a 2nd location, forgot the name of the city its in...anyways, go see Tommy (the owner) & tell him Jimmy from California sent ya. He'll hook you up.

Good luck...and better luck next time when going home! ^-^

That's the most awful story I've ever heard on a chat board.

Yup,
I live in Rhode Island.
I know where those guys are located.
The accident occurred in Massachusetts.
Should be fun trying to get the cash from the no-name insurance company.
Back in the shop next week, WTF.

Massachusetts has some of the worst f'n drivers in the country. Of course, the guy that ran a red light and launched my motorcycle last summer was from NY, but that was simply god's idea of a sick joke.... Just glad to have 2 legs and a brand new fast car to play with instead of the crotch rocket ...

Sorry to hear that man. Way too many Gs getting victimized just sitting at red lights. Way too many. Guess that's a good sign that sales are high though?

It probably was, just changing his ride to be more competitive. Oh wait, it couldn't have been him, because the passat has four doors.

Sounds like collateral damage. The Passat is the enemy, the Buick is friendly fire, the cement truck a tank (no damage there) and you - collateral damage. Sucks - hope you can find some humor in the fact that this was just absurd.
