Even if neglected I believe almost every engine will see 100K. My neglected '96 Altima saw 170K miles with oil changes every 5K to 10K miles, essentially whenever I got around to changing the oil. I used Fram filters and mostly Castrol oil. It still ran strong when I sold it, and consumed very little oil.

Switching oils and tracking UOAs is more of a hobby to me. I intend to keep and use the G well beyond 200K... so I thought it would be interesting to have measurements (UOAs) done along the way. I don't smoke, drink or party anymore (a wife and kids will do this to you) so $20 every 4K miles or so is a pretty cheap hobby.
