It's interesting since the 06 coupes are supposed to... I would love to do a swap but I worry it's gonna be DAMN expensive

My guess is around $2000. Headlight assemblies are expensive. Probably need some peripheral parts as well.

Nice, but not worth it to me.

No projectors for the Sedan just the Coupe The Sedan and Coupe are getting Blue Tooth. Coupe is getting Intelligent key and Memory seats as well.

No big changes for 06', I read the letter from HO down at the local Infiniti Dealership on Friday.

well I must say that sucks I'm a lil disappointed that they wouldn't give the sedan projectors.. but on the same token i'd be an almost guarantee that the redesign in 07 will have em.

instead of a "Reflector", you use a lens to focus (project) the light. Ergo: "Projector" lights. ala BMW

I had a problem with the HID projectors on my S2000. Because of the car's stiff suspension (i.e. bouncy ride) and the sharp cut-off of the HID projectors, many oncoming cars thought I was flashing my high-beams at them. In turn, they would flash back.

Another problem I found is that the sharp cut-off sometimes made it difficult to see things beyond a certain point when going up certain hills. Of course this was easily fixed by using the high-beams when possible.

Other than that, I prefer HID projectors over reflectors. They are brighter and put the available light to better use where it needs to be.

Correct, sharper HID projectors with a vehicle that has a stiff/hard suspension is going to be killer for oncoming traffic. There will be some who love the color flashing, but there will those who think they are being flashed.

For the G35, sharper projectors shouldn't be a problem.
