Ugly red dash glass

The radio and the upper dash red glass on my G has these spots and residue from the cleaner spray left by the car wash people. It does not seem to be water soluble. Anybody have a hint on how to combat this travesty?

You'll have better luck posting this or searching the Detailing forum.
