After lurking about a year and having loved the car since for at least 2 yrs. last night I finally decided to join the club. Got an 05 DG/Stone with sport suspension and spoiler (dealer installed). Was not interested in the premium packages since I was planning in replacing the stereo and rather not deal with getting the Bose out. Paid 29K + TTL.

Also, since the reps/managers messed up on the car color, I got them to give me the black emblems and the clear side markers for $200 installed. I originally wanted to get the Lakeshore and at the last minute (and after 3 hours of waiting around) they had the DG ready for me to drive out. The DG was my #1A choice so I played hard to get and got the emblems and the side markers. The whole 3 hours I was there the rep kept telling me I was getting the Lakeshore, I guess he and the manager got their wires crossed. They had no Lakershore on site and after the manager did a computer search he said he could not find one either.

I will post pics after the spoiler, side markers and emblems are installed. LOVE the car

Black emblems? On what?

Is this normal - dealers offering clear corners? I didn't think that they did that sort of after-market thing?

 

I think the emblems are referred to as black chrome or pearl badges and they will be replacing the emblem on the front grill, and all those in the trunk lid. Here's a thread on the subject:

This first one is with the tinted windows (35% on all windows, 20% on rear)only, Llumar film.

The rest of the pictures are after the spoiler, clear corners, splash guards, black chrome emblems and the aluminum pedal set have been installed.
