Check engine soon light came on....
I want to make sure before I take it in that since Im right at 3469 that it doesnt come on as a reminder to get the oil changed at 3500.

No, nothing to do with scheduled maintenance. If the car is running properly, it's probably a loose gas cap. Failing that, it may be a faulty sensor.
You could try an ecu reset to see if the light comes back, or just let the dealer find out what tripped it and do a warranty fix.

If your gas cap is on, take it to the dealer for a warranty fix. The only time mine came on is when I filled the gas tank and left the gas cap off.

Get it checked by the service dept.

Obdii
If its more convienant..you may also hit an autozone..they will read your code for free and if its simple they can reset it as well..
