clear bra
#2
Here is a link to an old picture of my sedan [after I got my wheels, but before I lowered it]. Anyway, I have a clear bra on the first 1/3 of the hood, the entire front bumper, headlamps, and front face of the side view mirrors. As you will see, on a clean DG sedan, you can not see the clear bra line at the hood unless you are just a 2-3 feet away from it.

Some high resolution shots in various lighting conditions
Hey Folks,
I have the Llumar "Paint Protection Film" (aka "ClearBra"). It truly is invisible except from one perspective looking down the front of the car from the rear.
Take a look at http://www.flickr.com/photos/51916287@N00/sets/520520/ for the pictures. If you click on a picture and then click "All sizes" you can see a high res copy.
Hopefully these pics will help you make a decision. These were computer cut, not hand cut, as an FYI.

I also forgot to mention that the car hasn't been cleaned in about a week, and that I haven't cleaned the dust out from the edge of the film. That's my only complaint about this stuff. However, it really only takes a minute or two with a q-tip to clean any gunk out from the edges.
The film's already saved me from a pretty good-sized rock that skipped up off the hood, but still managed to nick the windshield.
Anyway, I hope this helps (and that flickr is around long enough to help people in the future).

There are many installers across the country. I recommend getting one even if you have a few chips. Get them touched up and then get the bra installed.
Once correctly installed, nothing should get underneath the bra. If you have any questions regarding clear bras email me.

I got mine done at the place recommended by my dealer. In addition, you can search for Llumar's distributors and find out who's installing the stuff with a quick phone call or email. 3M has a similar listing iirc.
Also, someone posted way earlier for pictures of the intelligent key's button on the door handle. Hopefully the i-key (or ikey or whatever) guy will find this, or someone else searching will find this. There's a picture of that in the flickr library as well.

Every company charges differently. Expect companies that do higher quality work to charge more. Here in California, for the Gs, we chg anywhere from a little over $600-$800 and a few hundred more for 95% of the hood w/ edges wrapped. It really depends on where you're located and the type of coverage you want. good luck!
