G35X Auto @ Limerock

I just got my G35X Auto last week and just signed up for 2 days in August at limerock. I am going with pdadrivingschool.com. Has anyone open tracked with this combo? I am using the bone stock tires and the car will have about 1,000 miles when I go. I am going in the novice class so I will have an instructor. I have auto Xed many times in my old vette and my brother's firebird. I am assuming that this will be lots of fun. Any feedback on what to expect would be cool.

Thanks,

Howie

I recently did a 2-day session at RoadAmerica, and the "X" car performed better than expected. I did go with race rubber on OEM 17's, the best track mod IMHO.

I recently did a day with Performance Drivers Club out of Vancouver and I had a blast! $45 to join and then 200 dollars for the day - they provide helmets and instructors. I went with a friend who has done the BMW, Skip Barb, Bob Bondurant, and all the others and he swears the quality of instruction here is as good or better for much cheaper. If you are in the Pacific NW (BC, Wash, Ore) there is an event near you. Here's the site:

Anyhow, thought this was a great way to learn the limits of my new car (3 weeks old), went bone stock, and had a blast. The G blew the instructors away as well. Every single one commented on the car and how seamless the X factor was. BTW - everything there from 4 door golfs to a CARRERRA GT!
Sweet!
