How true is this?

Hey guys... I'm a tad confused.. help me clarify this:

A friend just got an '05 G35 Sedan like 2 days ago. He said, that while at the dealer (Infiniti of Coconut Creek), there was an '06 sedan, and he insisted that it had a grey color (not available on the '05 model sedan apparently) which knocked up the price like $2k. From my knowledge, there isn't even detailed info on the '06 models, yet he and his wife both insist that it was an '06, which the salesman also told them it was an '06.

The 06' G35 Sedan is not yet available...according to Infiniti and its sales centers. Could it have been a M35?

And it has a grey color that costs an extra $2K?

Sometimes salemen are full of ****, some of them don't know crap about their product. All they care is to make $$$ off consumers.

When I went to the dealer to look at the G35 back in early 2003, I had to tell him what was standard and what was optional. He didn't even know what options were standard with the Premium Aero package -- I had to show him in the brochure before he believed me and then he made a lame excuse about being "so many cars to remember" -- yikes!!

When I took my '03 sedan with the sport suspension in to the service department one of the salesman commented that he liked my aftermarket wheels. WTF? They were the stock five spokes!
