Hehe...If it hasn't happened to you by now it probably won't. I guess it depends on the gas station/pumps etc. also. My car was manufactured Sept 04 as a 2005 model.

I enjoy doing a quick acceleration without just stomping it to the floor. You get a nice smooth run up to 60 by pressing your foot gently to the floor and then let up when you reach 60.

Talking Loaner - Having a blast

I am in the same boat. I gave my car to the dealership to fix some squeaking noice from the center armrest and Rear view mirror is very shaky.

Got my loaner on Thursday night and still have it The dealer ordered a replacement mirror, so the car should be fixed today hopefully.

I have been having fun with the loaner cars, kicking A$$ from the stop lights.

Just have to watch out for speeding tickets.

No way brah! I looked at the Lexus and it would have been a contender if it weren't so FOCKING ugly. LOL..

The cabin looks squashed and the rear end looks like a Buick.

When does your rear view mirror shake? Bumpy roads only? On the highway, etc?

Today on the highway, I noticed when I look at the rear view mirror long enough that it shakes and the car I see on the mirror was a bit fuzzy. On local streets it's fine. I seldom look at the rear view mirror much. Even when I do, it's very brief that I don't notice it was shaking. But when I look at it for a couple seconds like today it was shaking a bit. Afterward at the light, I try twisting the rear view mirror and it's not solid tight.

I just got my car back yesterday and the replaced the rearview mirror. Although it is slghtly better it still shakes at Highway speeds and also on local roads if they are rough. Infiniti has the worst Rearview mirror, I don't understand how come they cannot properly manufacture such a basic element in a car.

The squeaky noises are completely gone now. The dealer said they found some loose stuff under the shifter and fixed it.

I now have some faint rattling noise from my driver side wondow. I will observe for one more day and get it back to the dealer with the complaint. I will probably complain about the rear view mirror again.

Do any of you have these issues. I believe the shaky rear view is very common in the G35's.

I have a 5yr old Honda CR-V and it is very solid with no squeaks and no shaky mirrors. Hope Infiniti can learn something from Honda.

I got an 04 G35x. It was good car except that I hated the regular key.
I love the intellegent Key on my car

I noticed the trunk does not have an external opener, there is no button or key hole to open the trunk. ???? This is weird, the only way to open a trunk was through the dash switch on the drivers side. What kind of joke is this???
The car I got did not have a remote opener either so it was kind of cumbersome to open the drivers door to get to the trunk all the time.

My mirror is solid as a rock. South Texas roads (and south Texas in general) suck, and if it were gonna shake, it would be shaking here.

You're the reason I don't buy used sports sedans/coupes

g35dreamer,

Did they ever fix your rear view mirror issue? The reason I am asking is I am bringing car in this Monday to fix the TSB issue on both rear doors with rattling noise. I took my G on a road trip and still at Rhode Island as we speak. On my road trip I noticed the "rearview mirror" shakes just like how you described it. The mirror is not still and it shakes a bit but if you hold onto it tight and it's fine. Did they replace it again for you? Because I might mentioned this when I bring it in. Also, my center console makes a "ticking" noise when I step on the brakes sometimes. Probably similar to your situation. That center console below the shifter, if I would to wiggle it a bit it makes the nasty plastic to plastic squeaky sound. Is that how yours was? I can't believe Infiniti let these "pop..tick..squeaky" noises pass their QA.
