Thumbs up Clear bra installation

I FINALLY found someone to install a clear bra on my sedan. So now I have a 3M pre-cut kit fot the hood and fenders for sale. I paid $150 for it with the mirrors, but I already used the mirrors so I just have the hood and fenders left. This is a 3M pre-cut kit like the sedan hood kit seen here. It is in PERFECT condition and I have not tried to install it or anything.

Anyone interested? Make me an offer.

I still have it. I will take some pictures for you. It is the same kit as the link in the earlier post minus the mirrors. I had one installed on my car Saturday and could do the hood and fenders behind the lights, but watching him do the front bumper was a pain.

I am in SC so make me an offer.

The only way the paint around it will become dull is if you don't take proper care of it, it should be fine as long as you keep the car up IMO!

It will not affect the paint. If you own a G and drive much on the freeway or interstate, paint protection film is invaluable. I had mine applied Saturday and none of my family or friends even noticed until I pointed it out to them. This stuff is the best!!

The kit was made from 3M and covers about a foot and a half of the hood and the bumper was one piece. It was hmmm, interesting, to install myself, but it does look good.

We have since added some thicker covers for the headlights that give them an rich hid look - from the same place.

LuXXXz, the way I figure it for what I paid for it, it is going to make me money when we trade it in. I took a beating when I sold my car - lots of chips. So I was psyched that my car already had it on when I looked at it at the dealer.

I would say you probably don't really want to diy unless you have some experience with something similar. I figured I could buy a few of them and still come out ahead, so I thought it was worthwhile.

I applied it myself and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I had Zeibart apply it to my previous bumper, but I saw what the guy was doing and it did not look so hard. After upgrading to the Aero Bumper, I ordered from InvictaShield.com.

The kit came with everything I needed, even an instruction video. I watched the video closely and followed the directions exactly. About 5 hours of careful work and my entire new bumper is now protected. It looks good, no bubbles. The entire kit ran me about $220, including A-Pillar strips.

I highly recomend it, if you don't mind crawling around for a few hours in front of your car.
