You need to get involved in the Florida G35 Club and have one of the members (like Daniel) install a motion/shock sensor for you. He did finiti35's coupe at our last meet and he installed the sensor RIGHT NEXT TO HER HEADLIGHT (for this very reason).

Check us out. We have our own club forum here on driver. https://g35driver.com/forums/florida-g-club-68/

Daniel's screen name is SFLG35 and he is the Florida Rep for KP Technologies.

I agree.. motion sensor or some type of alarm is a necessity.... Mine were stolen once when I first bought it.. but it's one of those things....Get an alarm... I did.

You can intall it yourself - although I needed the president of KP tech to fix mine after I botched my install as the wiring colors didn't match the instruction book...and I'm a little slow. It's about 25 bucks for the part. Search for redwillow and shock sensor to see what vendor offers these. Are they ripping your car apart??? I'd install a flame thrower too.

I think this is were us Canadians may be more fortunate with our G's. Here, all G35's coupe or sedans come with HID's. I'm guessing the headlights are being stolen to replace non-HID G's. Is this correct or are they being stolen for some other purpose? Also, how are they able to steal them in a minute or two when I've seen that the bumper must be removed in order to even take them out?

you can just brake out the head lights with a big screwdriver.the whole light comes off,, they do it to mostly audi's around boston, u see alot running around with 1 or both head lights missing

Damn that's frustrating. Time to start thinking about some sort of security.

Now we know where all those modded Intergras and Del Sols are getting their parts...

Sorry to hear it - was there any damage to the skin of the car?

^^^ Thats what i was thinkin....

I wouldnt think that the stolen lights are to replace non-HID G's lights, but to sell to the "low-rider" gang there in so-FL to do a crazy headlight conversion on their civics and accords...

Just my guess...

I have changed bulbs (high/fog) before. HOW DO THEY GET THEM OUT IN LESS THAN A MINUTE?

they break the bolts that hold the entire lamp in place, 3 bolts, takes a min each side to take... Proximity IS a necessity in Miami.. unfortunately..
