Car wax

I posted this but it did not load

I have read several posts about car wax and hear Zaino mentioned all
of the time. I happen to meet our Zaino distributor and we looked at
my 3 day old freshly waxed (by me) 05 sedan. I had cleaned it before
I saw him and was pleased with the shine and slickness of the paint.

So he gives me some saran wrap to put over my fingers to run across
the paint. I was SHOCKED at what I felt. It felt like there was sand
all over my car, and this was right after I cleaned it. So after a
long discussion, I ended up purchasing some Zaino product.

So this is what I did. I used a clay bar to remove the grit, Fusion
to remove the spots I could not remove with bug and tar remover, Z2
polish and Z8 Finale spray. What a difference. If you are serious
about your car's finish, you owe it to yourself to look into Zaino's
products.

What is everyone using to condition their leather and clean their
dashboard?

I use Lexol products. Years and years ago I used to sell Tony Lama cowboy boots and this was the only stuff they would put on the $1000.00 boots. I figure if it's good enough for them it's good enough for my leather seats. Never had any cracked seats in any of my cars.

I use the same thing currently on my seats. Seems to work fine. I just wanted to see if there was something better out there.

What about car wash? Any specific brand better than others?

Before I tried zaino I was skeptical also. you always read about how great it is. I figured everyone couldn't be full of $hit so I tried it. I was very impressed with the results.

I hear there is lots of other good products out there. My intial zaino application lasted well over a year.

Ya pretty much everyone says the same thing. I've been using "X" product for "X" years and I finally tried Zaino because everyone had a huge erection over it and I loved it. I'm in the same camp. I finally used Zaino on my G sedan and I don't see myself using anything else for awhile. It's easy, relatively inexpensive, and works really, really well.

If you are not using Zaino currently, try the saran wrap test and see for yourself.

Just started using Z9 and Z10 for the leather and other interior surfaces. With regard to the exterior . . . I'm still using Klasse AIO and Klasse SG. After that . . . For a great wax finish after all of that synthetic stuff, I use P21s carnuba wax on top of all the Klasse.

How is the Z9 and Z10? The glass cleaner stuff was cool too.

zaino isn't what got the contaminants off your car's surface it was the clay. i know many that have used zaino and i've seen the results. it's nice, but i still prefer my AIO/FMJ combo. easy on, easy off and no waiting for anything to "cure". you should post some pics of your results.

I will try to soon. Have a link for more info about AIO/FMJ?

With the Z2, beading is much smaller and the water appears to "jump" off of the car on the sides, rather than just slowly run off. I am open to any other products. I do not sell Zaino, I just had some good personal results.

I've used Klasse AIO for almost some 20 years. This stuff just keeps getting better and better.

Ya, I'm the same. It's rare I get psyched enough about a product to actually pimp it on forums or something, but I have been that impressed with the Zaino kit I bought, in particular the Z9 and Z6.

properautocare.com sells AIO and FMJ. But it works great. I recently did a detail on a severly oxidized black 96 mustang that had been sitting on a driveway for 1.5 yrs.
http://www.hubexchange.com/detail/mustang_7_3_05/

there's another thread where i did my DG sedan w/ AIO/FMJ combo as well.

Here's the picture
